Sterilization Clinic in Volcan - October 1, 2006
(I had intended to have a clinic in early December of 2006. But in November I suffered a severe dog bite on the first knuckle of my right thumb which severed the tendons and almost took my thumb off. I ended up with massive infection and taking four different courses of antibiotics which rendered me hardly able to get out of bed. This was the reason for the extended period between the clinics.) Dr. Andres Tello from the Costa Rica has been a vet at each of our clinics. He also works with the McKee Project in Costa Rica. (Click HERE to read more about the good works of Dr. Tello.) Like Spay/Panama, Spay/Panama-Chiriqui is dedicated to reducing the population of suffering dogs and cats by sterilizing the animals of Panamanians who cannot afford sterilizations by other vets. Contributions requested are $20 per dog and $10 per cat, although no animal is turned away if the guardian cannot afford to pay. Spay/Panama-Chiriqui relies on donations only and each contribution goes directly to services
for the animals or medical supplies. None of us receives any
salaries or "perks." Every penny of your contribution goes for
the animals. Your contribution helps make Spay/Panama-Chiriqui services possible. Dorothy
